1) Reminders — Task lists complete with due dates and locations. These can be location based, so as your leaving your work parking lot you’ll get an alert telling you to pick up bread on the ride home (nice!).

2) Safari — Safari Reader will display your web articles without the clutter from websites sidebars or headers. Reading List will allow you to save interesting articles to read at a later time. And on the iPad, tabbed browsing helps you organize and switch between multiple web pages.

3) PC Free — Now you don’t need a computer to synchronize with. You can update the iOS software directly. They also are adding support for editing photos and creating email folders. To top it all off you can back up and restore your device automatically using iCloud.

4) iMessage — You can now send unlimited text messages from your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch to anyone with one of those devices. Send text, photos, videos, locations, contacts. You can track your messages with delivery receipts and optional read receipts. (Sorry Blackberry!)

OS X Lion

1) Full Screen Apps — Built into the OS, this allows Safari, Mail and others go full screen. This means smaller laptop screens are happy!

2) Resume — Apps you close down will open right where you left off, after an update or restart of your computer you will be back to the exact spot you left them.

3) Auto Save — I think we all have been there at one time after a frozen application, “Uhm did I save that file?” Horrible question, better solution: Auto Save.

4) Versions — Documents can go through many changes while your working on them. Versions will create a snapshot every step along the way so you can always revert back to the version that you want.

5) Spotlight — Drag and drop capabilities & Quick Look are now added, can it get any easier to search for files?
