With the release of iOS 5 one of the best features they have added is that you no longer need to connect your device to your Mac when you want to synchronize your information. The Wi-Fi Sync works over a Wi-Fi network rather then through your USB cable connection. This syncing process works in the background and that means you can be on your device reading your emails and synchronizing your favourite album at the same time.

Marketcircle has just released Daylite and Daylite Server (versions 3.15) that are both fully compatible with Apple’s OS X Lion.

Tiger users:
Daylite and Daylite Server 3.15 do not work on Tiger (10.4).

Our friends at Marketcircle are advising users of Daylite and Billings Pro to wait before upgrading to Lion, due to several incompatibilities which interfere with the programs’ functionality. The issue has been reported to Apple and it has been acknowledged as a bug in the OS.

So I was bummed out last night when I found my hard drive reaching the end of its rope. I did not want to go through this, so instead I went on the hunt for an application that could help me search my hard drive for the culprit(s). I came across the Daisy Disk application — so I thought I would take it for a spin.

1) Reminders — Task lists complete with due dates and locations. These can be location based, so as your leaving your work parking lot you’ll get an alert telling you to pick up bread on the ride home (nice!).

If you haven't heard - Google Docs is a free, Web-based word processor, spreadsheet, slide show, form, and data storage service offered by Google. It allows users to create and edit documents online while collaborating in real-time with other users.

Documents, spreadsheets, presentations can be created with Google Docs, imported through the web interface, or sent via email. Documents can be saved to a user's local computer in a variety of formats including: (.XLS, .XLSX, .PPTX, .PAGES, .AI, .PSD, .DXF, .SVG, .EPS, .PS, .TTF, .XPS, .ODF, HTML, PDF, RTF, Text, Microsoft Office).
