The Apple Magic Trackpad is no different than the trackpad on the Macbook and Macbook Pro, aside from it’s size and design. It has the same Multi-Touch finger gestures and feel of the Macbook trackpad, except for it’s new square aluminum design. The Magic Trackpad has built in Bluetooth technology that connects to any desktop Mac computer running Mac OS X 10.6.4 or later and requires a Software Update to accomodate the new device...

Apple's dropped another product today, and that's a device to recharge your rechargeable AA batteries. It's pretty simple; it takes 2 AA's at a time and charges them via a wall outlet. It’s not a bad deal at all, considering it is only $29, comes with 6 NiMH rechargeable batteries and works with other AA rechargeables you may have.

2003: Apple opens the iTunes Music Store and starts to revolutionize the music-recording industry, one song at a time.

Between the mid-1980s and late 1990s, the media were undergoing a massive conversion from analog to digital. The music industry hated it.

We all love Apples iChat, its my favourite application for IM because it does so many different things! (file sharing, screen sharing, web-cam) Now we add to that list adding our Facebook Chat into iChat.

We need to first get your Facebook username so go to your home profile. Now look at your URL bar.
(view http://www.facebook.com/your_username/) Copy or remember the username without the "?ref=profile" if you see that like i do.

Open iChat, then select iChat > Preferences and click on the Accounts tab.

Click on the + sign to add a new account, now input these settings:

For some time you have been able to download your Podcast's directly to your iPhone. However lets say your on the Skytrain or Bus and you want to listen to that freshly released Podcast, the problem is to download anything over 10MB requires that you be connected to WiFi.

So that's not going to work out so well for you. But instead of tapping the "download" button on a Podcast, simply tap the episode's title.

There is a great debate over which browsers to use on the Mac, I get the question about 10 times a week. Which browser should I use and why?

There are Pro's and Con's to all of the browsers out there, but the one thing I do like about the Firefox browser, is that the application is an open-sourced application. Meaning this permits users to use, change, and improve the software, or redistribute it in modified or unmodified forms.

This is a mixed bag in the ways that software developers can enhance and also diminish the quality of a product.
